Description

Wooden statue of Jeanne d'Arc sculpted after the model of Marie d'Orléans, called Prière avant le combat ('The Prayer before the Battle'). Jeanne d'Arc is depicted in armour with her hands folded before here and holding a sword with her right hand. Behind her are her helmet and armoured gloves.
The statue is flanked by (plaster?) statues of Saint Catherine and Saint Marguerite.

Around the column below the statues are five wooden panels with scenes from the life of Jeanne d'Arc:

  3. entree triumphale a orleans - Triumphal entry in Orléans
  4. supplice de jeanne d'arc - Execution of Jeanne d'Arc
