Bronze statue of a soldier standing at ease with hands clasped above reversed rifle. On the faces of the pedestal two tablets with names and reliefs, showing:
- "Military": soldiers marching to war,
- "Naval": the deck of an armed merchant ship.
- "The Homecoming": returning soldiers and sailors, some wounded, and nurses.
