Description

Bronze bust on a column. On the front is a relief portrait of Kinkel's wife Johanna Kinkel geb. Mockel (Bonn 1810 - London 1858), German composer, writer, and revolutionary.

  1. Personification of the river Sieg with the town of Siegen in the background.

  2. Scene from Kinkel's narrative poem Otto der Schütz (Otto II. von Hessen, bef. 1322-1366), with the closing sentence:
