Bronze statue of Balduin with a sword, on a column in the center of a fountain basin. In the lower part of the column are relief portraits of:

Heinrich VII Peter von Aspelt Dante Alighieri

In the upper section lion head gargoyles alternate with coats of arms:

Luxembourg held by a warrior

Archbishopric of Trier, held by an angel

The Holy Roman Empire, held by a warrior
