Behind the monument, on the wall at the "Parteisäge" - the building of the former District Council - is the Communist Manifesto written in four languages: German, English, French and Russian, and several times in different sizes:
proletarier aller landen, vereinigt euch!
Пролетарии всех стран, соединяйтесь!
proletaires de tous les pays, unissez-vous!
working men of all countries, unite!
The monument is also known under the nickname 'Nischel'.
