Right: o roma o morte (Garibaldi's battle cry, transl. 'Rome or death': scene with soldiers leaving their home.

Back: aspromonte: Garibaldi wounded between his soldiers.
Garibaldi, landing in Aspromonte with 3,000 volunteers in his march towards Rome, was defeated and captured on August 29, 1862 in the Battle of Aspromonte.
