Description

Gilded bronze statue of Strauss playing the violin on a marble socle. The statue stands in front of an Laas marble arch with a relief of dancing couples.

Annotation

Unveiled 26 June 1921. The gold on the statue was removed because of the weathering in 1935, and it was gilded again only in 1991.
