Description

Bronze statue of a student who fills his head with wisdom: he's reading a book with the formula for 'Geluk' (happiness) and is pooring a glass of 'liquid' into his head.

Annotation

Fons Sapientiae, Latin for Source of Wisdom, has a double meaning here: 'Fons' is a popular Flemish name and it is a humorous reference to the university's motto 'Sedes Sapientiae' (the Seat of Wisdom).
