Annotation

The statue was in 1786 placed on the Tellbrunnen (Tell Fountain) on the Rathausplatz in Altdorf. In 1860 removed from that spot and replaced by a statue by Hans Konrad Siegfried (replaced in 1895 by the one by Kissling). In 1891 the orld Curiger statue was donated to Tell's birthplace Bürglen.
