Description

  1. Horn Player and Horse, Front façade, At half height of the window two sculptures, a left curly horn player with shouldered stick, right out of the wall trespassing horse. The present relief is a 'free reconstruction' of the 1930s.
  2. Rider, North façade of the north tower: a horse and rider; this relief should be the oldest rider representation north of the Alps. The figure is from around 1180 and could be a sign of dominance of the city overlord Berchtold IV von Zähringen, pointed to the neighboring Palatinate.
