Annotation

The company "Spar- und Vorschuss-Verein Biene" (Savings and advance payment Association 'Bee'), established in 1864, decided in the 1890s to move the headquarters to the city centre. In 1895 an architectural competition was held for the design of the new building, but eventually was chosen for the German neo-renaissance style of Viennese architect Peter Paul Brang (1852-1925), although the it was not the wining design.

P.S. 12 September 2012 was a rainy day... The photos are therefore not as good as usual.
