On the attic of the central part of the Stock Exchange are six sculptures of pairs of putti with various objects symbolizing:
Post /Postal service with post horn and brief case
Handel / Trade with laurel wreath
Schifffahrt / Navigation with a boat
Eisenbahn / Railway with a steam locomotive
Industrie / Manufacture with tablet?
Telegraphie / Telegraphy with ?? (something electrical?)
All other sculptures on the façade were covered by scaffolding during our visit. There are groups symbilizing War and Misery, Peace and Prosperity, further are the coat of arms of Vienna, Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris, London and New York
The 'New Stock Exchange' was built 1879 after designs of Heinrich Burnitz and Oskar Sommer.
