King of Denmark and Norway, 1670-1699
Bronze equestrian statue of the King, with in the four corner of the pedestal Artemisia, Alexander the Great, Minerva and Hercules.
Originally in lead 1688, replaced in 1945 by a bronze copy.
Abraham-César Lamoureux (1635-1692), French sculptor, active in Copenhagen from 1681 to 1692.
