Olaf Rye

Olaf Rye (Bø, Telemark, 1791 - Fredericia 1849), Dano-Norwegian officer, played a decisive role in the 1849 Battle of Fredericia which broke the Schleswig-Holsteinish siege of the town. He died during this battle.
