Annotation

At the latest renovation of the Madrid Plaza de Colón beneath the square a subterranean Centro Cultural de la Villa was built. This centre us under the square, and the entrance is in a half subterranean corridor. The map is on the wall of this corridor. The old Columbus monument is standing now on a kind of overhanging shelter.

GoogleEarth image of the Plaza de Colón. The Columbus monument (A) and the Monumento al Descubrimiento de América (B) are clearly recognizable. The Centro Cultural is subterranean and not visible. It is located at C.
