Description

Bronze statue of a wood worker with an ax whiping his forehead.
On the pedestal three relies. On the sides:
  1. A Happy Home: A living room with a woman placing some flowers in a table, with two children.
  2. A Carpenter and his apprentice.
    On the back:
  3. The asko factory.

Annotation

The statue is a monument for the Lahti wood processing, as well as a praise to work. The statue is donated by factory owner Aukusti Asko Avonius.
