Description

Large - 4.26 m (14 feet) tall - marble statue of admiral Tourville with sword (now broken), baton and plumed hat, leaning on a ship anchor.

Annotation

The statue was made in 1827 for the Pont de la Concorde in Paris, but already in 1832 placed on the cour d'honneur of Versailles and transfered to Tourville in 1931.
