Bretonne du Goëllo
Breton Woman from Goëllo
Granite statue of a young Breton bride. The sculptor uses a slight movement of the foot as the starting point of the composition of this statue, head bowed, eyes lowered, and a cap.
The statue - the model for his sculpture group "Veuves d'Islandais" (1932, in the town hall of Tréguier) - is a gift of the sculptor to the city of Saint-Brieuc.
