Description

Marble sculpture depicting Jeanne d'Arc as peasant girl raising the sword, while she is protected by an armoured and crowned woman in a lly cloak.

Annotation

Commissioned in 1890 at the initiative of the General Council of the Vosges, the monument was unveiled at the Salon in 1893 and erected on site in 1902.
