Description

Bronze statue of a young officer in the uniform of the Bengal Regiment prior to the Indian Mutiny. He wears a plumed shako and has a drawn sword downward facing in his right hand and his left hand resting on his hip. On the pedestal two plaques showing soldiers at war:

  2. Soldiers in the Tirah expedition, India, 1897-98.
