Description

Set if four sculptural fountains, fitting the monument for Afonso de Albuquerque and made in 1940 by Salvador Barata Feyo, with the collaboration of António Costa. Each sculpture shows a mythological female figures:

Lisboa - Quatro figuras mitológicas femininas
South-east: Amphitrite, accompanied by a seahorse
Lisboa - Quatro figuras mitológicas femininas
North-east: Venus or Aphrodite, accompanied by her son Aeneas.
Lisboa - Quatro figuras mitológicas femininas
North-west: Diana, with a dagger and accompanied by a deer.
Lisboa - Quatro figuras mitológicas femininas
South-west: A Dionysian woman with grapes, accomanied by a goat
