Brass statue on a granite base. Columbus stands wearing period dress and a cloak. His proper right arm is raised and pointing while his proper left hand holds a rolled scroll.
Below this a bronze plate is attached with the inscription:

the presence of this statue bears evidence of the commitment of the
order sons of italy to the italian american community.
the names inscribed herewith are those filial lodges who contributed to its presence on this site and to those individuals involved with its inception.
