Description

Bronze sculpture of seven Texas Longhorn steers and an outrider (roughly one-third larger than lifesize) stretching across a base that measures 8.8 by 4.2 meter. 3.4 meter tall, the bronze weighs 6,350 kg.

A gift of artist and rancher T.D. Kelsey, and his wife, Sidni, to the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America, "Texas Gold" is one of the largest cast bronze statues in the world.
