The rather simple façade of the Cathedral of St. Pölten has two niches with statues.

(170 - 235), the most important 3rd-century theologian in the Christian Church in Rome (Wikipedia).

Sankt Pölten - Heiligenstatuen am Dom
St. Augustinus

(354 - 430), Bishop of Hippo Regius (present-day Annaba, Algeria), philosopher and theologian; his writings were very influential in the development of Western Christianity (Wikipedia).
