Description

Rough-hewn stone with three plaques: one with a relief of a miner with his lamp., one with the crossed hammer, symbol of mining, and one with the dates 1893-1993. Next to it is a half tunnel built of slag (ore waste). On short rails is a trolley with the miner's salute Glückauf on one side.
It commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Bergmansverein St. Léonardus - the staff association of miners. A bronze plaque shows a miner with his lamp.
