Description

Statue of St Francis holding a book with a skull in his right hand and a dove in his left.
The plinth bears the year 1857 (the founding year of the monastery) and the fence in front of the statue the year 1752 (the year of construction of the house), but it is unlikely that either of these is the dating of the (current) statue.
