Description

High pylon of white stone standing on a black stone base. On the base stands a statue of a wild boar, and at the side of the base are reliefs of some of the battles the regiment fought at.

The monument was erected in 1952. Because of the reconstruction of the road the monument was replaced and altered, where the bronze-boar and reliefs are kept. The boar illustrates the emblem and the motto of the Chasseurs Ardennais: "Resist and bite".
