Beeld van een op één been balancerende, geblindoekte mensfiguur met vier keien op zijn hoofd. Het uniseks figuurtje zonder geslachtskenmerken heeft drie vingers aan elke hand. Het is duidelijk herkenbaar als mens (of pop), hoewel er sprake is van enige abstractie. Volgens de kunstenaar is het verhoogje waarop het beeld staat een termietenheuvel. Je kan de termietenheuvel waarop Soledad zijn evenwicht tracht te bewaren zien als het complexe bouwwerk van onze eigen maatschappij. Je zou het beeld van de balancerende figuur ook kunnen interpreteren als de weerspiegeling van de strijd die velen in onze woelige, stresserende maatschappij dagelijks leveren om een evenwicht te vinden tussen de realiteit en hun innerlijke wereld. Soledad houdt zowel zichzelf als de stenen op zijn hoofd in evenwicht. In harmonie blijven met je omgeving en jezelf in een veeleisende samenleving maakt deel uit van het leven.

According to the artist, the platform on which the sculpture stands is a termite mound. You can see the termite mound on which Soledad tries to keep his balance as the complex edifice of our own society. You could also interpret the image of the balancing figure as reflecting the struggle that many in our turbulent, stressful society face daily to find a balance between reality and their inner world. Soledad balances both himself and the stones on his head. Staying in harmony with your surroundings and yourself in a demanding society is part of life.
