Description

The Conservatoire de Musique de Genève was officially inaugurated 1 September 1858. The building, after plans of the architect Jean-Baptiste Lesueur, is in a byzantine style, and is decorated with portraits of composers, muses and gods of the ancient world and other interesting statues
