Description

Statue of Tycho Brahe, holding a sextant, and Johannes Kepler holding a scroll.
The double statue is in front of the Jan Kepler Grammar School. On the site of this grammar school stood an extensive Renaissance summer residence, which was granted to Tycho Brahe upon his arrival by emperor Rudolf II. Brahe invited Johannes Kepler to Prague, where Kepler made his greatest scientific discovery.
