Four sculpture groups showing legendary couples from Czech mythology. They were sculpted in 1889-1897 and placed on the Palacký Bridge. During the Second World War they were damaged in air raids and in 1948 moved to Vyšehrad Park.
The sculpture is no. 9 in the Top 10 strangest statues in Prague of the Prague Post of 2014.

Přemysl, the Ploughman and his wife Libuše, legendary ancestor of the Přemysl dynasty, who settled in the 8th century at Vyšehrad. This group was heavily damaged in 1945 and repaired until restored by reinstalled with the other three only in 1977 (Wikipedia).

The legendary bard Lumír and Píseň ("Song"). Lumír refused to sing a hymn for the winners of The Maidens' War - a legendary war occurring sometime in the 8th century - and sings instead his last song to the Vyšehrad, then breaks his instrument. (Wikipedia).

Záboj and Slavoj, leaders of the rebellion against the invasion of the German troops of Charlemagne and allegedly led the victorious battle in 805 (Wikipedia).

Ctirad and Šárka, characters from the Maidens' War, when women after the death of Libuše built the castle Děvín lying on the opposite hill of Vyšehrad (Wikipedia).
