Description

Statue of a raftsman using a long pole to steer or push off a timber raft.
The apartment blocks on the north side of Ladova Street were built by the builder František Hodek in 1925. The sculptural decoration depicts life in Podskalí. The corner buildings at the junctions with Pod Slovany and Podskalská streets feature sculptures of rafters by Jaroslav Brůha.
