Description

Statue of Štefánik in a flight suit.
The state was made for an official monument for Bratislava, of which only the figure of the lion was ultimately realised (in 2009 an enlarged copy of Kafka' statue was added, see object skbr045). The second cast by the firm Karel Barták, signed on the plinth ‘Bohumil Kafka, 1933’, was installed on 30 August 1994 on the paved area in front of the observatory.
