Description

White marble commemorative plaque featuring a relief carving.
From 1919 to 1953 (except during WW II) the station was called Wilsonovo nádraží (Wilson Station), The plaque commemorates 16 November 1990, when, in the presence of U.S. President George Bush, the station was ceremonially restored to its honorary title, "President W. Wilson Station," - a name which is in use for special historical and official events.
It was unveiled on 3 July 1991 in the presence of the US Ambassador to the then Czechoslovak Federal Republic, Shirley Temple Black.
