Description

Fountain with blindfolded dancing musicians on the basin edge. They depict the major rivers in Europe (Danube), South-America (Amazon), North America (Mississippi) and Asia (Ganges) (except the Ganges they are the longest river per continent). Standing nearby is solitary statue representing the African river Nile (see object czpr196).
It is the ‘Music of the Rivers’. The fountain basin, made of Hořice sandstone, was designed by the academic sculptor Jan Wagner,
