Sculpture of a wounded soldier falling onto his left side.

Inscription(s)

In the centre of the plinth’s surface is a two-line inscription:

PADLÝM ČEST A MÍR
ŽIVÝM ODPOVĚDNOST - A BOJ.
honour and peace to the fallen / responsibility and struggle to the living)

On the rear of the plinth is an engraved inscription:

ZBUDOVAL KOMITÉT PRO POSTAVENÍ POMNÍKU 1934
(Erected by the committee for the construction of the memorial 1934
