Sandstone statue of Karel Havlíček Borovský on a round base with a shield with Havlíček's name.

Inscription(s)

On the front three sides of the lower octagonal plinth:

přislibujte | si mně.
vyhrožujte | si mně.
předce zrádcem I nebudu.

(Promise me; Threaten me; Shall not be a traitor to my ancestors).

On the back side is the text:

věnoval | vděčný | národ | 18 ²⁶/₈ 83

(Dedicated by a grateful nation).
