Sandstone ust of E.T.A. Hoffmann with one arm, which is stretched out and carrying on his hand a crowned snake, which slides down from the shoulder. The serpent alludes to Hoffmann's surrealistic, fantastic stories of Hoffmann. The bust is a whole with the base which is surrounded by naked sitting figures of children.
