Description

Trickle fountain consisting of a high metal frame in a shallow fountain basin. The frame is comparable to a climbing frame for children. Two girls and three boys do gymnastics on the frame. The water drips from the top metal ring into the shallow basin.
The fountain was a commissioned work for the Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg. For the design, Thieme visited a Pankow school class during physical education classes to record typical climbing and gymnastic postures.
