Description

Sculpture of goblin (the "Huckup") embodying a bad conscience on the back of a thief.
It illustrates an old Hildesheim legend, given in a verse on the sockle in Hildesheim dialect, and serves as a warning to all thieves, here represented a youthful apple thief as the victim.
