Description

Relief with the half-length figure of Till Eulenspiegel in jester's costume behind a parapet with an owl on his right shoulder and a mirror in his left hand. The right index finger points to the parapet inscription "HIC FUIT" ("Here he has been"), with which Eulenspiegel labelled the places of his misdeeds. In the background are the names of the places where he worked.

A photo from 2004 (Wikimedia Commons) shows a slightly different relief: at bottom left in the parapet is the name knesselare and the LE monogram is at the bottom right, while now it is bottom left.
