Description

Statue of Queen Mathilde.
The sculptor Eberhard Hellinge completed his last work of art with the plaster model of Matilda shortly before his death in summer 2016. On 14 March 2018, the 1050th anniversary of Matilde's death, the sculpture was completed and presented to the public on the occasion of the 2018 history festival.
