Description

Church from the 19th century with a tower built in 1890. There are four entrances, each with statues in the tympanum.

Above the main entrance:


Christus mit den hl. Peter und Paul / Christ with St. Peter and St. Paul The apostles Peter and Paul are often depicted together. In Catholic tradition, Peter is said to have founded the church in Rome with Paul, served as its bishop, authored two epistles, and then met martyrdom there along with Paul.

Above the side entrances:

Gregor der Große / St. Gregorius the Great

Maria mit Kind / St. Mary with Child Saint Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ (Wikipedia).

St. Joseph the husband of the Virgin Mary and the earthly father of Jesus Christ (in distinction to God, his "heavenly father") (Wikipedia).
