Description

Ceramic and bronze coloured figure showing the cardinal in liturgical clothing. At his feet, an upside-down wolf with a lamb on his stomach refers to the cardinal's namesake: St. Francis is said to have tamed a wolf. On the other hand, the wolf and lamb are reminiscent of the prophet Isaiah's vision of peace.
