Description

Bronze relief in a style influenced by Cubism showing five figures, each representing a school subject:

Musik / Music, with an instrument.
Chemie / Chemistry, with a distillation column.
Theater / Theatre, with a mask.
Botanik / Botany, with a plant
Mathematik / Mathematics, with geometrical lines and points.

Annotation

The Luise-Klinsmann-Haus was built in 1965 for the Volkshochschule Lübeck (adult education center).

Sculptor

Georg Weiland (Blowatz 1928 - Reinfeld c. 1998), German sculptor.
