The original of this Berlin Bear was made in 1967 sponsored by the Federation of Berlin and Berlin Friends for the Icelandic capital of Reykjavik and placed there in a park. Castings there are among others in Rio de Janeiro, Berlin-Wilmersdorf and on Helgoland.
