日本で敬愛されている作曲家滝廉太郎(1879-1903)は
1901年から1902年の間、フェルディナンド•ロ一デ通り7番に
住み、ライプツィヒ音楽院で学んだ。
短い一生の中で数々の名曲を残し、日本の近代音楽の扉を開
いた業績は永遠に輝き続ける。

Der in Japan hochverehrte Komponist Rentaro Taki (1879-1903)
wohnte während seines Studiums am Leipziger Konservatorium
der Musik von 1901 bis 1902 in dem nicht mehr erhalten Haus
Ferdinand-Rhode-Str. 7. Er war der erste japanische Musikstudent
in Europa.

Taki Rentaro (1879-1903) was a respected composer in Japan.
Between 1901 and 1902 he lived at Ferdinand-Rohde-Strasse 7.
He lived and studied at the Leipzig Conservatory.
In his short life, he left behind many masterpieces and opened the door
to modern music in Japan. His achievements will forever shine through.

The composer Rentaro Taki (1879-1903), who is highly revered in Japan
lived during his studies at the Leipzig Conservatoire
of Music from 1901 to 1902 in the no longer preserved house
Ferdinand-Rhode-Str. 7. He was the first Japanese music student
in Europe.
