Description

Head of Mendelssohn on a stone column.
The head was made in 1947 to replace the large statue of Mendelssohn, which was melted during the second world war (since 2008 there is a replica of this statue). The head stood at different locations in Leipzig and since 2008 at the Mendelssohnufer.
