Monument in three parts. The first is the monument for the war 1870-71, an obelisk, crowned by a vase, with on the front a relief of a mourning female figure with urban crown and a sword, representing the town of Crémieu, with on the sides names of the fallen. This monument dates from 1895.

After the First World War to the obelisk were on both sides were added walls with the names of the fallen in that war, and in front of the obelisk a marble statue of a soldier with a dove in his hand, and at his feet a dead eagle. This monument was present in 1924 (post card).

The third monument is a low 'table' in front of both other monuments, with a.o. the inscription 'ils sont morts pour que vive la france'.
