Description

On the Île du Souvenir (Island of Remembrance) in the lake of the Parc de la Tête d'Or is a very large war memorial designed by the architect Tony Garnier. The island is accessible by a tunnel, which was however in restauration when we visited Lyon. On our site you see therefor just a few photos taken from over the lake.
